Boys Growing Up

Noah left his door open the other night so that Buddy could sleep with him. The plan, obviously, worked. Can you believe that the school year is almost over. Just a few more weeks and we will be into our summer vacation. He has had a great first Kindergarten year and we lucked out with an incredible teacher.

Oliver just happy to be outside and playing. He has really started to talk lately. Everyday it's a new word. He is also over exaggerating his no-no's and uh-oh's lately - it's a full body experience. He is even starting to put two word sentences together: want up, want out, hi ackon (that's Jackson), etc. It won't be long and he will be chatting away. He's also started to show an interest in picking out his own pajamas at night. I have most of his pj's hanging in his closet, after his bath we will go grab a diaper and then his pj's. If I pick the wrong pair he gets very upset, takes them from my hand and throws them back into the closet. He then picks the "correct" pair for the evening. This is a great way to learn that it's time to clean out the pairs that are too small. I had to force him into a pair that he'd outgrown the other night, those are now in the donation pile. Both of our boys are growing up fast.
