It was just outside our backdoor. She made her web between Joel's barbecue and the fence post that used to be our dog run. I was using my super macro settings so I was VERY close to her. My lens was maybe a quarter of an inch away. She let me take quite a few pictures until Oliver tried to pet her, then she quickly scampered off.
Ollie, you don't pet spiders...they're not like cats- but then I guess the cats don't let you pet them either do they?? Doesn't seem that spiders appreciate a good petting either...
