Wondering

I am wondering, with such a mild winter and spring showing up a bit early, just what our summer is going to look like. Will it continue with this trend and be a mild summer? Or will it be a season full of hot hot days and drought? Or will it be going into the record books as one of the wettest? Curiosity has got the better of me and can't wait to see how it all turns out...

The flowering (non-fruit bearing) trees that line some of streets around here are in full bloom.
Everywhere you look it's pink.

The ladybugs are doing a fine job of keeping my day lily bug free.

There are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the loose.

Dandelions are blooming for boys to pick and smell.

Our family garden is in need of some seed. We are talking about planting some stuff in the next week or two. Last year, due to still freezing nights, we put off planting until APRIL 16. We are or will be at least 4 weeks ahead of schedule this year.
That's Joel and Chris in the corner discussing our irrigation. The owner of the land asked if we could move the garden to a different part of his property this year. This is the new plot.

...sure sign of spring if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are out and about... : )

Where's the new garden plot? I think he's very smart to move you guys- his land is going to be very fertile after a few years with you moving the plot every year and fertilizing with alpaca poop...of course, you need to re-set the irrigation every time...more work for you guys.

When you come up the driveway, house is on the right and the barn is straight ahead. His garden is right next to the barn on the left side ours is now to the left of the barn and behind his. This should be the only move we have to do. He is installing a cool zip line that will run from the forest, over what was our garden (big open field) and all the way down to the ponds.
